Cypripedium californicum. This was the reason I was driving up Caribou Rd. As I was puttering along, I saw a giant wall of serpentine looming ahead, and figured I had to stop and check it out. As I pulled up, I noticed a stream, flowing along the base of the outcropping, and thought to myself, "Serpentine + water = awesome orchids." Checked it out, and sure enough, hidden among the lilies was a little patch of California lady's slippers. They were a little past prime, but I was pretty proud of my sleuthing. The ones shown aobe were actually further down the road, along with the stream orchids.

Swag obtained at the Las Vegas drop for the Flynn Lives / TRON LEGACY ARG, by operative and friends Rick K. & Bill W.... Thanks for the sleuthing, the legwork, and the pix!

This is a newspaper article about ENCOM and Kevin Flynn, folded up in the wallet that was found at the drop. The phone was given to Bill by a FlynnLives operative at the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas -- with a message on it marked "call me". A person answered and led Bill to the drop, which was the wallet and all of its contents.
